Reiki 1 Class
Reiki 1 or First Degree Reiki (Shoden, or First Teaching) – In this first Reiki experience you are attuned to the Reiki energy in order to perform physical healing. The Reiki symbols are placed in your aura and chakras but they are not revealed to you.
This is the practitioner’s level in which you learn to heal yourself. You also learn how to perform a healing on another person who is physically present. Reiki Level 1 is “hands-on Reiki on,” and focuses primarily on the physical body. I am also including a free mini course on utilizing crystals in your Reiki practice.
Students will receive a course manual and certificate upon completion.

the different levels of Reiki
how the attunement works
what the human energy anatomy is
the Japanese Reiki Level 1 techniques
Reiki hand positions
how to feel and work with the Reiki energy
how to give a Reiki treatment for self and others

Prerequisite: an open mind, willingness to learn, and the desire to grow. Length of the class is 5 hours over 1 day.
Herb of the Month
Join herbalist Katie Lawler-Melia as we focus on a different herb each month. Working with a single plant each month is a wonderful way to create a deeper relationship with plant medicine. These classes are meant to be a guide to help you discover new things about yourself, the plants, and making herbal medicine. You will bring home the list below, PLUS we’ll be making something with the herb of the month in our class. In October we will be learning about the elder plant (elderflower and elderberries.)
In each class you will receive:
glass jar filled with dried herb for making a tincture
Bag of dried herb for making infusions, oxymels, and more
2 oz amber glass dropper bottle for your finished tincture
Label Stickers
A booklet that includes an introduction to the plant, materia medica, modern medicinal uses, history and lore, information on growing and harvesting, medicinal preparations and food recipes.

Herbal Circle
Join herbalist Katie Lawler-Melia at Inner Light Wellness Spa as we focus on a herbal medicine making. In this series we will be diving deep into various body systems and learning about how to bring them into balance with herbs. Our first session in October the topic will be Immune System Allies- perfect for autumn! Over the year, you will be invited to learn different ways to engage with plants, and how to make infusions, decoctions, tinctures, oxymels, food recipes, and more! Each class we will make various plant medicine preparations, learn about herbs, and form a community to help and support one another on our herbal journey

Elderberry Tincture Class
Join folk herbalist Katie of Moon & Stars Apothecary as we learn more about the amazing benefits of the elderberry. We will learn the modern uses, folklore, and we will prepare a tincture using folk methods. Each student will receive tincture to take home along with a dropper bottle to transfer it to once it is done. You will also receive a handout with for your herbal book that includes further elderberry recipes and ways to use your tincture. Class is limited to 12 students. This class will be held outdoors. Energy Medicine Master Class Series
Energy Medicine has received a great deal of interest in recent years. So much so, that it has become an area of study and research in the western medicine world.
